1936 Austin 20hp Mayfair Limousine

Royal Blue over Black Coachwork

with Complementary Dark Blue Leather Interior

This impressive 7 passenger historic motor car of which very few were made in the 1930’s, is now one of only 5 left on the road. The car affectionately known in the family as Basil was completely restored some 28 years ago from a rolling wreck, since purchasing the car some 4 years ago I have continued with the restoration and maintenance of it to ensure its continued reliability and appearance. Finished in Royal Blue over Black with dark blue leather interior it is an imposing and regal vehicle and makes a refreshing change from the ubiquitous pre-war Rolls-Royce and very much rarer.

The car has a most interesting history with an alleged connection with Thomas Hardy the Architect and well know author. Come and have a look at this piece of motoring history, you will not be disappointed.
